About the Loud Sheep
A few words about who put this together, and why.
This almanac was put together by one ordinary follower of Jesus: a loud sheep who has wandered in every direction it describes and keeps being found.

I want to be clear: I am not affiliated with Skye Jethani in any way. This site is independent, it is not connected to him or his publisher, and nothing here speaks for him.
I was meaningfully impacted by his writing. His book With gave me words for the tired ways I had been relating to God, and it pointed me back to the simple invitation to be with him. I built this almanac because I want others to explore those ideas too, and I hope it sends you to his book.
Ideas that were there all along
None of this is new. Life with God runs through the whole Bible, from the garden to the New Jerusalem (Gen 3:8, Rev 21:3). You can find it on almost every page if you read with the eyes of a sheep that wants to be with the Great Shepherd (Heb 13:20).
Who wrote this matters much less than the One it points to. If you’re looking for where to start, start with Meet the Shepherd.
